Waking Night Support Worker – Kettering

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic waking night support staff to join our team in Kettering. You would be based at our CQC registered residential home and supporting four young adults who have learning disabilities and complex needs. Waking night posts follow a two-week working shift pattern between the hours of 21:30 and 08:00 as follows:

Week one: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Week two: Wednesday and Thursday

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring our young adults receive a high standard of care and support, including personal care, during the night along with domestic duties to ensure the cleanliness of the home.

The young people we support are at the centre of everything we do! We are looking for people with a passion for making a difference to the lives of the young people we support, enabling them to achieve their goals and ambitions. You will be enthusiastic about supporting them with accessing community activities and education opportunities along with maintaining their social and family support networks. You will be flexible and approachable and have great communication skills. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to learn and undertake the essential training that is required for this role.

Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with people who have learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge, but this is not essential provided you can show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others and a commitment to our values and ethos. Salary: £9.50 per hour
