Residential Support Worker – Rushden
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic support staff to join our team in Rushden. You would be based at our CQC registered residential home and supporting four young adults who have learning disabilities and complex needs. Full time posts are 140 hours per month worked across varied shifts between 07:30-21:45, including weekends and bank holidays.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring our young adults receive a high standard of care and support, including personal care and practical and emotional support.
The young people we support are at the centre of everything we do! We are looking for people with a passion for making a difference to the lives of the young people we support, enabling them to achieve their goals and ambitions. You will be enthusiastic about supporting them with accessing community activities and education opportunities along with maintaining their social and family support networks. You will be flexible and approachable and have great communication skills. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to learn and undertake the essential training that is required for this role.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working with people who have learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge, but this is not essential provided you can show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others and a commitment to our values and ethos. Salary: £9.00 per hour
